IT’S the London Marathon on Sunday, providing inspiration to put on your trainers and pound the pavement.
Whether you are a beginner or already putting in the miles, there are loads of cheap ways to get the running bug.
Here is what you need to know . . .
COUCH TO 5K: If you don’t know where to start with running, the NHS Couch To 5k programme could be ideal.
It is designed to get anyone started, taking you on three runs each week.
The plan lasts nine weeks with a podcast that you can download for free. There is also an app to accompany the programme.
